Coloring Book Zentangle Style Fantasy Fish in Ocean Drawing

Here's a fun illustration I did for my Through the EYES of an ARTIST Coloring Book

I did this whole book in what I call a direct inking process. This means that I do no preliminary sketches at all, I take pen to paper and start to immediately illustrate without any preconceived idea in mind. What I end up with when I have a finished drawing is often a surprise for me and part of the fun of doing this series of zendoodles for this book series.

This little guy decided to take a swim in the ocean and play with some sea creatures so I went along for the beach visit.

You can see a work in progress video of this drawing - and many others - on my Coloring Life Happy Facebook page in my Videos album.

Sea She! Coloring Book Zentangle Style Drawing with Seahorse, Starfish and Sea Shells.

Here's a work in progress video on my latest hand drawn, direct inked (no preliminary sketches), Zentangle Style Zendoodle Fantasy Ocean / Sea Coloring Book Illustration featuring an adorable Seahorse, a cute Starfish and Sea Shells.

This drawing will be included in my next coloring book, "Through The EYES Of An ARTIST Fantasy Coloring Book" available on Amazon.

I have to say this turned out really wonderful and I can't wait to color it myself for posters, clothing and gifts on my store!

Zentangle Style Zendoodle Fantasy Feather Coloring Book Drawing

Finished up this fun, new fantasy feather art for my next coloring book (working book title at this point is "Through The Eyes of an Artist Zendoodle Fantasy Coloring Book" by Terri Dennis aka Pop Art Diva).

I'm creating all the illustrations for this book by direct inking, in other words, I don't do any initial sketches, I just start inking the image directly onto the paper and let it turn into what it wants to turn into!

This one decided it wanted to be feathered so I went with it. For this whole book I am morphing women's faces into fantasy designs so I always start with the eyes then part of the face to create the mode or emotion and let it flow intuitively from there.
